E. McLendon of this city. in Greenville General Hospi tal. Spec. 4 David Ray Sloan of Route 1, Woodruff, was injur eded Dec. 23 in a wreck on 1-26 about four miles north of Clinton. The 1964 convertible in which Sloan and a com panion were traveling eas' on 1-26 left the road and overturned. Marion Gordon Cox Jr., 21, of Pope Air Force Base, N. C., was not seriously injured Sloan was taken to Baile> Memorial Hospital in Clinton and was later transferred tc the Greenville hospital. Profit Sharing Contribution GREENWOOD^ — A $700 000 contribution to the Green wood Mills employees Profit Sharing Retirement Fund for 1967 was announced recently by J. B. Harris Jr., executive vice president. Begun in 1959, the fund has already grown to $7 mil lion at its current value.
