Route 1, Woodruff, was injur
eded Dec. 23 in a wreck on
1-26 about four miles north of
Clinton. The 1964 convertible
in which Sloan and a com
panion were traveling eas'
on 1-26 left the road and
overturned.
Marion Gordon Cox Jr., 21,
of Pope Air Force Base, N.
C., was not seriously injured
Sloan was taken to Baile>
Memorial Hospital in Clinton
and was later transferred tc
the Greenville hospital.
