If you are troubled with a
problem, if you are afraid of
the future, and the results of
the past, then take stock and
clean up your life.
1. Go to your Lord immedi
ately. In His hands are the
past, present and future. If
there is unforgiven sins in
your life, then get down on
your knees and confess it
humbly to your Lork and seek
His forgiveness. You can
have it if you-earnestly seek
it: “Him that cometh to Me
I will in no wise cast out .
If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.”
2. Surrender your life to
your Lord’s leading and guid
ance. Perhaps you don’t like
the idea of surrendering. Un
til you surrender your self-
will, you can never have
God’s will in your life; you
can never have salvation.
“Whosoever shall call on the
name of the Lord shall be
saved.” When Peter preached
his first sermon on this text,
hfe won 3,000 converts.
3. Join a church and go to
work in it. The church is a
group of people who have
dedicated their lives to their
Lord. That is the best place
for you to find Christian fel
lowship. You can never enjoy
the Christian Religipn unless
you work at it.
4. Study your Bible, com
mencing with the Gospel of
John. Read daily the 27th
Psalm and the fourth chap
ter of Philippians. If you
don’t understand the Bible,
there are plenty of helps

which you can secure for the

8. Establish a family aljtai;.
Learn to pray aloud, at home
daily with your wife and chil
dren. If you are afraid of the
sound of your voice, then
pray with members of your
family the Lord’s Prayer.
This will lead you to a wider
family program of prayer.
Try holding family prayers
at the dinner table. After you
have read a portion Oi^God’s
word pr some devotional ma
terial, then Jfcia hands aroupd
the thble and ask the Lord’s
blessing upon your fellowship
in Christ as well as on your
food.
6. Go to work immediately
to bring new Christian expe
rience to others. Help them to
find the happiness you have.
I have never known people
quite so spiritually hungry as
they 1 are toddy- ’White many
of them would not admit it,'*
that’s their moM argent need.
You yttow Jjefqre you a
brief program, the accept-
anoe of which wjll .gel you out
of your present difficulties
grant you^4oy and happiness
here, and joy t and security
hereafter. Take this prescrip
tion daily, and you will find
something fine, noble, and
good happening to ypur life.
