Every body at OHS is talking politics this week, for next Monday hosts the elections. Chosen on Monday will be the President and Vice-President of next year’s Student Body along with new class officers and homeroom representatives. CHS is blooming with posters and signs; all the candidates are hard at work. Good luck to all of you, and may the best man win (or should I say “best person!”). The State Science Fair will be held next weekend in the Textile HaU at Greenville, S. C. The first place winners at CHS are invited to enter their projects and all Clintonians are urged to visit the Fair ancl * Student Council Members Named At Presbyterian Students from South Caro lina, Tennessee and Florida have been elected as class rep resentatives to serve on the - Presbyterian College student council for the coming year. They are: Senior Class — Joe Dunlap of Knoxville and Sandy Lynn of Memphis; Ju nior — Robin Williams of Myr tle Beach and Al Wilson of Darlington; and Sophomore— Ferdie Jourdan of Chester and Billy Bryant of Quincy* Fla. Freshman representatives will be named from the first-year class entering next fall. These representatives join the following officers, elected the previous week, in forming ' the PC Student Government Association: Dave Berry of Union, president; Bob Staton of Emporia, Va., vice-presi dent; Dick Query of Charles ton, secretary; and John Wal- ther of Virginia Beach, Va., treasurer. v see the hundreds of outstand ing projects (Mi display. With the return of the school schedule came the practice for the •* Senior Play. Once again, let me remind you to plan on attending this per formance; this year the cast portrays a drama instead of a comedy. Please remember you all are cordially invited. This weekend will find sev eral CHS’ers in Georgia. The Horizons of the Camp Fire Girls, Inc. are holding a Re gional Conference on Stone Mountain, which is about six teen miles from Atlanta. The girls will leave Friday and return early Sunday night. Have a good time, everyone! Well, before I leave you for this week, let me say I hope each of you had a happy and holy Easter weekend. The weather was certainly beauti ful for this very special sea son of the year, and I hope each persons’ thoughts and deeds shown brighter than the sun. Word has been received from Wayne Crapps, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tillman Crapps, that he has been assigned to a commissary unit in Viet nam. Word has been received from David T. Pitts, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. D. T. Pitts, Sr., that he has arrived at Elpaso, Texas and will ho stationed at Fort Bliss, Tex. Mr. and Mrs. D. T. Pitts wore in Greenville on Mon day. . Miss Mary Ann McCall, a student at Agnes Scott, At lanta, has returned to Agnes Scott after spending a week with Mrs. N. A. Shonse ancl Mrs. Earle Johnson. On last Wednesday Mrs. N. A. Shouse entertained Miss Ann Workman and David Wassau* Miss Mary Ami Mc Call and Kenneth Johnson and Jimmy Johnson at dinner at the Mary Musgrove Hotel. Mary Ann McCall and Ken neth Johnson were entertain ed by Mr. and Mrs. Earle Johnson on Thursday evening at Blogers, and on Friday evening by Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson at Sunset Res taurant, Newberry.
