Clemson Clubs throughout
the world will be meeting that
week to enjoy a tradition of
fellowship that is repeated an
nually during the week of
March 27-April 1.
Joe Sherman, Clemson’s di
rector of alumni relations,
who has administered the
building of a significant Clem
son alumni program over the
last 11 yhars, will he'the prin
cipal speaker oi the evening.
This year’s meeting will be
ladies night and prior to the
meal a social hour will be ob
served in the library in the
high school building on West
Main Street.
Joe R. Adair will be in
charge of this year’s Clem
son Week program and he said
early reports indicate that a
large crowd will attend. He

son students now residing in
Laurens County, if they have

day at 6:00 a. m. at a local
hospital after a brief illness.

Cornelia Mann Guest, she liv
ed in Clinton most of her life
and was a member of Bajley
Memorial Churdh.
Surviving also are her step
mother, Mrs. Aurelia Guest of
Silver Springs, Md.; three
daughters, Mrs. Sandra Pen-
land of Laurens, and Miss
Sheila Meadors and Miss Ka
ren Meadors of Ihe home; a
sister. Mrs. Dorothy Davis of
Germany; a brother, Gerald
Guest of Washington, D. C.;

Funeral services will be held
today (Thursday) at 3:30 at
Bailey Memorial Methodist
Church, conducted by Rev.
J. Thomas Miller and Rev. J.
