B. Jacks have returned from a visit with their sister, Mrs. A. S. Yarborough, and Mr. Yarborough in Tampa, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Rawl, Mr and Mrs. Irvin Hudson of Williamsburg, Va., were over night guests of Mrs. Rawls’ sister, Mrs. J. B. Arnold, and Mr. Arnold on Saturday. They were enroute home from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after a week’s cruise to Peurto Rico and the Virgin Islands. * Mr. and Mrs. Norman Law rence and son, Bobby, of Cen tral, were Sunday guests of Mrs. Lawrence’s sisters, Mrs. Ray^ Pitts, Mrs. Louie Thorn- ley, and their families. Mrs. Everett Carson of Gastonia, N. C., was the over night guest of her sister, Mrs. John Roseboro, and Mr. Roseboro^n Friday. Phil Rogers, Jr., student at Clemson University, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Rogers. James Jacks, Jr., student at Gardner-Webb Junior Col lege, spent the week-end with his parents^ Mr. and Mrs. James Jacks. Louie Thornley has returned home ' following surgery and stay at Bailey Memorial Hos pital. ' Mr. and Mrs. I. Mac Adair have been vacationing at points of interest in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Fuller Reese and Bob Reese will return to day to Richmond, Va., after spending several days - at their home here. On Sunday they were guests of Mrs. Reese, Sr., in Abbeville, and their son and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Fuller Reese, III, at Clemson. Bob Reese will leave Friday for California and on to Vietnam for a year’s tour of duty with the U. 6. Army. He recently completed communications School at Ft. Gordon, Ga. Dr. and Mrs. George R. Blalock left this week by jet for Los Angeles, Calif., where they will \ visit his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ricahrd Krupp, and Mrs. Bla lock’s aunt, Mrs. William Car rillo, in Hollywood. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Adair spent Sunday in Williamston with her brother and sister- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gray. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hun- ning, who have been residing in Clinton the past year, have returned to Greenville, N. C., to make their home. ••■Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hagins of Abbeville, spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. George R. Holland, who accompanied them home for a visit, con valescing from an illness and hospital stay. Ott Thomas is recuperating at home following surgery at Greenville General hospital. Hap McSween has returned to The Citadel in Charleston after spending last week at the Mardi Gras in New Or leans, La., with the Summer- all Guards of The Citadel. Sgt. A. P. Scott was greet ed at Atlanta air terminal on Tuesday morning on his re turn from a tour of duty in Vietnam by Mrs. Scott and their three children of Colum bia, his mother, Mrs. Frank Simpson of this city, also by his sisteb^Mrs. Floyd Scott and daughter^ Dianne, of Greenville, his sister, Mrs. Bradbury, Mr. Bradbury, and son, Don, of Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Huff- stetler of Columbia, spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Mary Norman. Dr. and Mrs. Marshall Brown spent several days re cently in Columbia on busi- ness VISIT IN FLORIDA Mr. and Mrs. J. F .Jacobs, Sr., accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. John Heyward of Rion, spent several days last week visiting in Daytona and St. Petersburg, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Walker Jones of Blackburg, spent Saturday and Sunday with their daugh ter, Mrs. Milford Smith .find family. ATTENDS MARDI GRAS Mrs. Almon Spencer has re turned from a trip to New Or leans, La., where she attended the Mardi Gras. VISIT IN FLORIDA _ Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bonds have returned from a vaca tion trip to points of interest in Florida. Enroute they vis ited Mrs. Lewis Oden in Blackshear, Ga., and Mrs. Glen B. Reaves and sons at McCory AFB, Orlando. Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Holland were Mr. and Mrs James T. Smith and son, Ronnie, of Columbia. Miss Linda White, student at the Universijty of South Carolina, Columbia, spent the week-end with her grand mothers, Mrs. O. B. King and Mrs. R. C. Stewart. Mrs. Kent Krell and three children, Katharyne, George, and Ursula, of Columbia spent several days here last week with their mother and grand mother, Mrs. H. L. Eichel- berger. Campbell of this city. Wiliam is currently serv ing as -warehouse foreman at the shipping docks. He train ed for the infantry at Fort Gordon, Ga., and advance in fantry at Fort Polk, La. He has been in Vietnam four months. Charles is presently a mem ber of the Mobile Combat Support Group as communi cation specialist, lie receiv ed his technical training at Keesler AFB, Miss.
