The Clinton Kiwanis Club

night tonight (Thursday) at
the Mary Musgrove Hotel. A
buffet dinner gwill be served
beginning at 7:30 and will be
followed by entertainment and
dancing.
Entertainment for the eve
ning will be provided by the
Windpipes Quartet and The
Ypung Folk. Harry Bouk-

music for dancing.

grove Hotel Friday evening,
December 2, for their Winter
Dance.
A three-course dinner was
served at eight o’clock follow
ed with dancing to the music
of Harry Bouknight and his
Orchestra from 9 to 1.
A Christmas tneme was used
to decorate the ball room. To
one end of the room a giant
Christmas wreath wps used
with smaller ones used to each
side. The individual tables
were decorated with three-
branehed candelabrae with
burning tapers and Christmas
ball. Red Christmas stream
ers added a decorative note
to the white linen covers.

Amy Black, Converse Col
lege senior, has been selected
as one of three winners in a
concerto contest Friday at the
college. As a winner she will
be presented in a special con
cert with the Spartanburg
Symphony Orchestra, along
with Paul Schoedfield, pianist
and Suzanne Rollins, graduate
student in flute, on February
9 at Twitchell Auditorium.
