Spartanburg hospital at 11:45
a.m. Sunday, after an illness
of one month.
A native of Laurens Coun
ty, and daughter of the late
Jack W. and Ada Elliott Dil
lard, she was a retired em
ploye of the Southern Bell
Telephone Co. with 42 years
of service.
Surviving are two sons,
John E. Atwater of Spartan
burg and Harvey D. Atwater
of Columbia; and two sisters,
Mrs. Bessie Dillard and Mrs.
Ada Campbell of Spartan
burg.
Funeral services were con
ducted Monday at 2 p.m. at'
J. F. Floyd Mortuary by Rev.
E. Paul McWhirter. Burial
was in Greenlawn Memorial
Gardens.
