Watts Greenwood — John Henry (Doc) Watts, 76, died Wednes day, March 23. at 2:45 p. m. at his home. 221 Hampton Ave., after Several weeks of illaess. ' Born in Laurens County, son of . the late James Willie and Mary Lou Campbell Watts, he lived in Greenwood 49 years and was employed by Green wood Mills at the Greenwood Plant 34 years prior to his retirement. He was a mem ber of Westside Baptist Church. He was married twice. His first wife, Mrs. Dora Lee Watts, died a number of years ago. ' Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rachel Judy Watts; four daughters. Mrs. Marie Albea t North Augusta. Mrs. Eliza- th Perry of Augusta, Mrs. Marvin E. Harris and Mrs. Betty Gunnels of Greenwood; .a son, John W. Watts of Burl ington, N. C.; a sister, Mrs. Alma Hill of Cross Hill; a half-brother, Erskine Watts df Greenwood; three half-sis ters, Mrs. Ilene Gunnels of Greenwood.
