Sizemore, who was killed in Vietnam. Mrs. Claude Parrish is in Greenville with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson, going to be near Mr. Parrish, who is a patient in the Greenville General hospital. Miss Pat Harvey spent the week-end in Whitmire with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gilliam. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gallman and Polly spent Sunday in Green ville with the former’s father, J. G. Gallman. Gary Goss of the Medical Col lege in Charleston, and Warren Goss of Columbia, spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goss. Miss Karen Livingston of Cross Hill, was the week-end guest of Miss Lynn McGee. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Burdette and grandchildren, Sherry, Steve and Dale Campbell attended a birthday dinner Sunday in Iva in honor of Mrs. Burdette’s mother, Mrs. W. S. Manning, who was 91 years old. Mr. and Mrs W.. I. Bailey vis ited their son, Johnny Bailey, at Fort Jackson, Columbia, on Sun day. Mansel Bridwell, Mansel Reid Bridwell and Kay of Honea Path, and Kenneth Trammell and Cary Smith of Greenwood, visited Mr. and Msr. Clyde Trammell Fri day and attended the Clinton High-Woodruff High football game. Johnny Lanford of Clemson University, Clemson, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Lanford. He was here for the high school game oo Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lark and daughter of Asheville, N. C., were guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. P. Lark, during the week-end. Miss Sue Word of Columbia, and a classmate. Miss Cindy Perry of Kingsport, Tenn., spent the week-end with Miss Word’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Word. Sunday dinner guests of the Words were Mrs. John Word, Mrs. J. F. Weir, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Madden, Cynthia Madden, Bill and Kathy Weir and Miss Perry. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Williams spent a recent week-end with her ' son, Cap.t James Drake, and Mrs. Drake in Charlotte, N. C. Herbert Fallaw was in Jack- • sonville, Fla., Thursday through Saturday with other representa tives of the independent Life In surance Co. Mrs. Robert Bailey and Bob of Charlotte, N. C., visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Mc Lendon, and Mr. Bailey’s moth er, Mrs. Jim Bailey cn Friday, Rev. M. J. Sanders was in Greenville Monday and Tuesday for the South Carolina Baptist pastors’ conference and the con vention. BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT TOLLISON Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Tollison announce the birth of a daughter, Marcia Dawn, on November 9 at Bailey Memorial Hospital. The new mother is the former Charlene Evans. CHURCH OFFICIAL TO SPEAK Dr. J. Lewis Coward, superin tendent of the Upper South Caro lina Conference of the Pente costal Holiness Church, will be Hie guest speaker at the Lydia church Sunday morning at the 11:00 o’clock worship hour. Rev. Roscoe Bryan, pastor of the church extends a cordial invitation to everyone to hear Dr. Coward. WITH THE SICK Terri Patterson is recuperating at her home following an appen- decomy at Bailey Memorial Hos pital last week. Patients at Bailey Memorial Hospital include Mrs. Floyd Em ery, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hairs ton, Mrs. Valda Patterson, and Mrs. Lois Webb. Claude Parrish is a medical patient at the General Hospital in Greenville. J. T. Hamilton remains a pa tient at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood. Mrs. T. D. Douglas and Mrs. Joel Templeton are 01 at their Mrs. Margaret Marshall and Kathy of Bonds Cross Roads. Mr. Snider was remembered with many useful gifts.
