Mrs. McCarter returned home with her for a few days visit. They attended the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Simpson at Greenwood on the 11th. Mr. and Mrs. David Owens will celebrate their wedding anniversary Saturday, the 17th. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Owens and children and Mr. and Mrs. Furman Bratcher spent their vacation at Myrtle Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Owens and children spent their vaca tion at Daytona Beach, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Tobie Camp bell and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Campbell visited in Daytona Beach, Fla., last week. Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Free man, Andy and Angela Howe of Gaffney, were in Maggie Valley, N. C., for a few days last week. Laura and Sue Major spent last week in Abbeville with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Patton. Hubert Rollins and daughter, Connie, and Cathy B i g b e e spent a few days at Myrtle Beach recently. Mr. and Mrs. Marcell Barker and Carroll visited Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Spurlock in Charles ton and at Myrtle Beach re cently. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Ad ams, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Campbell and June visited Rev. ad Mrs. Julian Weisner in Mc- Coll and Myrtle Beach; Rev. and Mrs. Bob Wesley in John- sonville, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Campbell in Columbia recently. Mrs. Corrie Lynch, Jimmy and Mrs. Doris Padgett of Spar tanburg, left Saturday for Den ver, Colo., to take Annie Padg ett to the Spearo Clinic. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Farmer and Velda visited Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Spivey in Anderson last week. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Quinn spent their vacation in Ocala, Fla. Mrs. Maria Bostic gave Mrs. Frances Switzer a birthday dinner at her home last week. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sat terfield and children and Mrs. Henry Suttle spent the week at Myrtle Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Ellis of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Farmer of Cherry Point, N. C., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Farmer last week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Caughman and family visited at Myrtle Beach last week.'
