ATTEND CLASS REUNION Mrs. dally Gault, Mrs. Robert Vance, Mrs. Powell Fraser, and Mrs. D. H. McFadden attended their class reunions at Queens College in Charlotte on Friday and Saturday. Martin of Fountain Inn, spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Blacks REV. DARR LOSES MOTHER The Rev. and Mrs. J. H. Darr were called to Sumter over the week-end due to the death of Mr. Darr’s mother, Mrs. J. H. Darr Sr. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Plaxlco Sr., and Miss Nannie Young Tribble accompanied Robert, and Nancy Plaxico to Bon darken, N. C., on Sunday. Bruce S. Quarles of the Char leston Navy Base was home re cently with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Quarles. Amick were - Miss Rachel Counts and Miss Elta Rush of Atlanta, Ga. FORMER RESIDENT TO VISIT HERE Mrs. Oliver W. Chapin of Han over, N. J., will spend Tuesday and Wednesday here as the guest of Mrs. Julian Coleman. Mrs. Chapin is the former Jean, ette Crawford, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Craw ford. Mrs. Carlton Winn and son, Charles C. Winn, have returned from Atlanta where they attend ed the funeral services of Mrs. Winn’s brother, C. A. Callaway. Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Shealy, Sr., spent Sunday In Orangeburg with their son and daughter-in- law, Mr, and Mrs. Wyman Shealy, Jr. and family, going es pecially for confirmation of their grandson, Mike. Mr. and Mrs. E. Keith Adair, Mrs P. M. Pitts, and Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Holland visited Ber nard Holland in Orangeburg on Sunday and toured Edisto Gar. dens Miss Jane Sturgeon of Dur ham, N. C. visited her mother, Mrs. H. E. Sturgeon during the weekend. Ty Smith, student at Truett McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia, spent the weekend with his parents, Lt. Col. and Mrs. F. V. Smith. Hap McSweens, Son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry McSween; Har old Culbertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Y. Culbertson, Billy Shields, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Shields, and Bobby Has kins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Haskins, arrived yesterday from The Citadel to spend the Easter holidays with their parents. Columbia College girls home for the week during the semester break are Misses Susan Work man, Shirley Ann Timmons, Celia Gasque and Mary Harvey. They will resume classes next Tuesday. * E. E.
