Auditions on Friday for her high school diploma. The Judge
was Roger L. Keys of Queens College, Charlotte, N. C.
Miss Caughman made a superior rating. She is the pupil of
Mrs. Eva B. Land.
Eligible for high school diplomas in music next year will

Car Crashes Into Pole
This 1963 -Ford, driven by Jimmy Leon Holmes of
316 W. Main St., grazed one utility pole and broke an
other when he crashed into it Saturday afternoon about
4 o’clock as Holmes was driving north on S. Bell St.
He was said to have suffered slight injuries, and was
charged with reckless driving. City officer George
