A TRIP TO FLORIDA
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Casque and
Mr. and Mrs. Gus Smith of
Greenville spent several days
last week visiting in Orlando,
Florida, with Mr. Casque’s
brother, Lee Casque and Mrs.
Casque. While there they also
' visited other points of interest.
Mrs. L. A. McCall of Florence .
is visiting her daughter, Mrs.
Powell Fraser, and Col. Fraser.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Casque and
baby daughter, Marci, of Green
ville spent Monday with Mr.
Casque’s parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Casque.'
SKIING TRIP
Lynn Cooper Jr., and daugh
ters, Misses Jerri Lynne and
Leslie Ann Cooper, spent the past
week-fcnd in Blowing Rock, N. C.,
as guests of International Har
vester at the Hound Ears Lodge.
The skiing trip was won by Mr.
f Cooper by having sold the high
est per cent of Internatiomd Har
vesters in this area. While away
Mrs. Glenn Bull of Laurens spent
the week-end with her daughter,
Mrs. Lynn Cooper Jr.
Mr. and Mrs Marvin Gault and
family spent the week-end in
Greenville with Mrs. Gault’s par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Carter.
Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Owens of
Anderson, Mrs. N. L. Wessinger,
Mrs. Kathleen Fanning, Miss
Lela Long, and Mrs. Fred Lester
of Newberry were guests Sunday
of Dr. and Mrs. N. C. Wessinger
and family, coming especially to
visit with Mrs. Wessinger who is
recuperating from minor leg sur
gery.
Miss Jean Arnold of Winthrop
College visited her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Ben Arnold.
Mr. And Mrs. Dennis Sowers
left Friday for St. Cloud, Fla.,
where they will spend a vaca
tion., While away they will visit
I their nephew, James H. Leaman
and family M Tampa for a
week-end.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bagwell
Sr., have returned from a week’s
visit with Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
Addy in Lakeland, Fla.
Mrs. O. H. Sheely Jr., Miss
Vivian Sheely and Mrs. Sheely’s
sister, Mrs. J. R. Owens of Jack
sonville, Fla., who has been vis
iting here for several weeks
spent Sunday in Seneca with rel
atives. Mrs. Owens remained
for a longer stay with her sister.

McCormick spent Sunday with
the former’s mother, Mrs. J. B.
Wilder.
Carl F. Staton of Alexandria,
Va., spent several days last week
with his brother and sister-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Sta

spent Sunday in Washington,
Ga., with Mr. and Mrs. D. H.

spent the week-end in Atlanta,
Ga., with their son, Dr. Don
Rhame who had been visiting
here accompanied them home.

of Camp LeJeune, N. C., and
Miss Rita Chandler of Converse
College, Spartanburg.
Dr. and Mrs. Fred Holcombe
spent the week-end in Warm
Springs, Ga., with their sod, Joe,
who is there for treatment.
Mr. and Mrs. Thurston Giles,
Adrian Giles and C. C. Giles
were in Myrtle Beach the past
week-end going especially for
the marriage of their niece and
granddaughter. Miss Barbara
“Bitsy” Kugler and Lt. William
Rupert Macpherson which took
place Sunday at the Myrtle
Beach First Presbyterian church.
Mr. and Mrs. Rembert Tru-
luck were special guests at the
annual lions Club Ladies Night
in Johnston layt Thursday. Mr.
Truluck, a guest speaker, spoke
on the South Carolina Eye Bank

Mrs. Claude Cooler who has
been a patient at Bailey Memo
rial Hospital has been trans
ferred to Columbia where she
underwent surgery Tuesday.
Mrs. Gary Holcomb attended
the funeral of her aunt, Mrs. Ar
thur Jackson in Campobello
Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Perry spent
Sunday in Florence with the
latter’s sister.
TO LEAVE FOR ENGLAND
Mrs. Leonard M. Wilson and
son, Carl D. Wilson will leave
Sunday by plane for Fritchley,
Derbyshire, England where they
will be guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Pass and Mr. and Mrs.
Michael Pass of Derbyshire. Mr.
Wilson will be married on March
IS to Miss Susan Pass. Mr. Leon
ard Wilson will Join them on
March 10 for the wedding.

of Charlotte, N. C., spent the
week-end with Mrs. Crowson’s

following surgery at the S. C.
Medical College Hospital in
Charleston last week, and return
ed to his position as member of
the faculty at the- College of
Charleston.

came especially to visit her
mother, Mrs. Lucy Nabors who
is a patient at Bailey Memorial

day of her sister, Mrs. John
Rose boro and Mr. Roseboro.
Mrs. Helen Rowe of Joanna is
a patient at St. Francis Hospital
in Greenville following surgery
