MRS. ARMSTRONG
Mrs. Mary Kidd Armstrong, 61,
of 85 Palmetto St., Lydia Mill,
died early Saturday morning at
a local hospital after several
months of declining health.
A native of Union County, she
lived at Lydia Mill 12 years.
She was a daughter of the late
H. B. and Bessie Bailey Kidd
and was a member of Lydia Mill
Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband,
Earl E. Armstrong; four sons,
Ernest E. Armstrong of Rock
Hill, Earl Alvin Armstrong of
Newton, N. C., Aaron G. Arm
strong of Clinton and Kenneth
Donald Armstrong of the home;
two daughters, Mrs. Annie Lee
Ledford of Gastonia, N. C., and
Miss Sherry Elaine Armstrong
of the home; six sisters, Mrs.
Dewey Taylor of Wadesboro, N.
C., Mrs. Grady Cabiness, Mrs.;
Gertrude Browning, Mrs. Lottie
Brown, Miss Vivian Kidd and
Mrs. Nellie Walker of Whitmire;
four brothers, Herbert and J.
W. Kidd of Whitmire, Vernon
Kidd of Elberton, Ga., and Hairy

ducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at
Lydia Mill Methodist Church by
Rey. Richard Gardner and Rev.
M. J. Sanders. Burial was in
Rosemont Cemetery here.
