CLYDE TRAMMELL Correspondent-Repreaentative Telephone 833-2006 Roy Waldrop of Anchorage, Alaska, Bill Waldrop of Jackson, Miss., have returned to their home after visiting their sister Mrs. Jean Cook, Mr. Cook and ether relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Patter son and children of Inman, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Berry and chil dren of Fork Shoals and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pitts and Donny of Clinton spent Christmas Day with their parents and grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bodie. Robert Cook and Gene Patter son spent the past week in Can ton, N. C., with Mr. and Mrs. Garland Rogers. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Vanderford and family visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Vanderford and Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Smith in Union on Christmas Eve. They also visited Mrs. Vanderford’s sister, Mrs. Jack Callahan and Mr. Callahan. Mrs. Nyoka O’Brian and sons, Keith and Jeff of Ninety-Six were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sprouse Sr., over the holidays. Gary Sprouse, ICFN, USN, of Charleston spent the holidays with Mrs. Sprouse and son and with his parents. Raymond Kuykendall of Wash ington, D. C., has been visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Kuykendall during the holidays. Miss Gloria Jackson of Win- throp College in Rock Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jackson and son of Clemson spent the holidays with their mother, Mrs. Ezzie Miller and Mr. Miller. The Donald Jacksons also visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Cun ningham in Clinton. Mrs. Mary Northcutt of Colum bia, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bailey and son and Mr. and Mrs B. F. Harvey were Christmas dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Mc Lendon. The McLendons accom panied his sister, Miss Northcutt back to her home Friday after noon. First Lt. and Mrs. A1 Williams and children of near Waco, Texas were guests of his mother, Mrs. L. A. Williams over the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gilstrap Jr., and Nathan spent Christmas in Greenville with their ‘ son Gerald and Mrs. Gilstrap, her mother, Mrs. I. J. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Steading and sons of Columbia, Tenn., and Mrs. Betty Bruce and daughter of Greer spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Patterson and Miss Sandra Mills spent Saturday in Orangeburg with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lawton. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Terrell and Mr. and Mrs. Dick erson during Christmas were Rev. and Mrs. B. WITH THE SICK Mrs. Lois Webb is a patient at Bailey Memorial Hospital. Mrs. J. A. Black Jr., entered Self-Memorial Hospital in Green wood Sunday afternoon for sur gery on Monday. PRE-CHRISTMAS DINNER Mr. and Mrs. Keith McGee and family were hosts to Mrs. Mc Gee’s family for a pre-Christmus dinner on Sunday before Christ mas. Enjoying the bountiful dinner and exchanging gifts were Mrs. Bob Yarborough of Woodruff, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Yarborough of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Yarborough and family oi Asheville, N. C. The McGee home was beauti fully decorated for the occasion. BAPTIST YOUNG PEOPLE Around 40 of the Young Peo ple’s Sunday Sc hood Department of the Lydia Baptist Church went to Panorama Lodge on Tuesday evening of last week for a party and supper of fish, chicken and steak. Rev. and Mrs. M. J. Sanders were guests of the group. CHRISTMAS DINNER Enjoying a pre-Christmas din ner on Dec. 2ft at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Parrish Sr., were Mr. and Mrs. Parrish Jr., of Aiken, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Cooper of Augusta, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wells Jr., and children of Clinton and Steven, Keith and Kevin Huskey, children of the Parish’s daughter, Mrs. Ernest ine Huskey who was a patient at Self Memorial Hospital in Green wood at the time of the party, 1 and Mr. and Mrs. Perry Parrish and Tami. After enjoying a delicious din- ern the family exchanged gifts from under the lighted tree. HOBBY CLUB TO REOPEN The Lydia Hobby Club which was discontinued before the holi days will reopen Jan. 5 with classes each Tuesday and Thurs day mornings and on Tuesday evenings. W.M.U. GENERAL MEETING The general monthly meeting of the Lydia Baptist Church Woman’s Missionary Union will meet Tuesday evening, Jan. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the church. All members of the W.M.S., officers and counselors are urged to attend. CHRISTMAS PARTY The young married couples Sunday school class of the Lydia Church of God enjoyed a Christ mas party on December 23rd. The group enjoyed games and the exchanging of gifts in the beautifully decorated community building, then went to White- ford’s Restaurant for supper. Rev. W. H. Cabiness is the class teacher.
