The Bank of Clinton honored
its employees and directors and
their wives with a Christmas
party last Friday evening at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil
Wilson on Ansel Drive.
Punch was served in the den,
decorated with a big fake Santa
Claus surrounded by wrapped
packages. In the living room
was a decorated Christmas tree,
under which were gift packages
for guests. On the living room
mantelpiece were the three wise
men made from decorated green
bottles. ^

fet table covered with a floor
length green cloth adorned with
silver braid. An arrangement of
red carnations was used in the
center of the table. Mrs. John T.
Young poured coffee from a sil
ver coffee service.

Mrs. Raymond J. Pitts enter

last Saturday evening at her
home on East Carolina Avenue.
The house was decorated with

Monday, December 7, at the
home of Mrs. Bill Cauble on the
Greenwood Highway.

from a prettily appointed table
adorned with Christmas ar
rangements, and served in the
den.
The Cauble home was lovely
with Christmas greenery and
other adornments bearing out
the Christmas theme.

THY GIFTS BY THEIR COST,
for verily many shall signify
love that is more blessed and
beautiful than silver and gold.

ready to enter into the Kingdom
of Heaven.

much time and money getting

preparing our souls.

HEART TO CHRIST. Let thy

candies. In the ballroom gold
tinsel decorations and a canopy
of gold fili greed tinsel hung from
the ceiling. Wreaths of greens
were hung from wall light fix
tures and each table was center
ed with an arrangement of
white mums and red carnations
nested in Christmas greens.

Lions Club. Ernest Ouzts was in
charge of arrangements at the
Lions party.

mas story in a special program

will begin with the lighting of the
