Cars Crash On City Street
Two cars collided at 4:30 p. m., Saturday, when
one failed to heed a stop sign at Bailey and Academy
Streets, according to city police Lt. Rufus King and
Officer Ed Marse, who investigate^. Ansel Burnette
Butter of Kinards, driving a 1955 Pontiac along Acade
my Street, collided with a 1963 Chevrolet driven by
Thornton M. Meadors on Bailey Street. Officers said
