A MATTER
OF DEGREE
THE CHURCH FOR AU
AIL FOR THi CHURCH
The Church ia the gneteat
factor on earth for the build
ing of character and good
citizenship. It ia a storehouse
of spiritual values. Without
a strong church, neither
democracy nor civilization
can survive. Thera an four
sound reasons why every
person should attend services
regularly and support the
church. They an: (1) For his
own sake. (2) For his dll-
Iran’s sake. (3) For the sake
of his community and nation.
(4) For the sake of the church
itself, which needs his moral
and material support Plea
to go to church regularly
and read your Bible daily.
Doctor? Lawyer? Merchant? Already Bobbie’s par
ents are planning for his future. They’re saving to give
him the best education obtainable, because they want
him to be happy and successful... a son to be proud of.
It would be splendid if a good education automat
ically led to happiness and success, but unfortunately
it doesn’t Many well-educated men and women have
failed utterly when it came to living a stable and worth
while life, because they lacked the strength of character
that would have sustained them.
There is no better training ground for the building
of character than the Christian Church. There children
are encouraged to follow a way of life that will not fail
them, and to respect themselves and their fellows.
Give your child every chance to succeed. Make sure
that his education includes a thorough knowledge cf
the time-tested Christian truths.
