MISCELLANEOUS SHOWER
Miss Willia Rae McGowan,
June bride-elect, was honored
with a shower at the Joanna club
house on Saturday evening. She
was the recipient of many use
ful gifts from the number of
guests present. Games were
played to suit the occasion.
Refreshments of cake squares,
nuts and punch were served by
the hostesses, Mrs. Marvin
Humphries, Mrs. Guy Miller,
Mrs. Hozie Bridges, Mrs. Louis

RECEIVES DISCHARGE
William Ronnie Hueble, G. M.
G. Sn., is back in Joanna after
receiving a discharge from the
Navy in San Diego, Calif., on
April 23. The final six months of
Ms 27 months in the navy were
spent in Japan. He is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Hueble.
