Dickey Jackson left Friday
to accept a position at the Bar-
craft Trailer Co. in Conway,
Aik. Mrs. Jackson will remain
with Mr. and Mrs. Ezzie Miller
for a while before Joining him in
Conway. ,
Mr. and Mrs. Pete Kelly and
children of Gaffney, Mr. and
Mrs. Jonah Brown, of Green
wood, were Sunday guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Ike Jones. On
Sunday afternoon the three
families visited Mr. Brown’s
and Mrs. Jones’ brother, Colie,
and Mrs. Brown in Williams-
ton.

APRIL WOMAN’S CLUB
MEETING
The Woman’s Club meeting
was held April 16 at the com
munity building, with 17 mem
bers present.
Mrs. David Word, president,
presided over the meeting.
Reports were heard Dram Hie
secretary-treasurer and the
ways and means committee.
Mrs. Word announced that the
final payment on the New York
World’s Fair trip was to be
paid June 8.
Mrs. Russell Emerson of
Clinton, former assistant Home
Demonstration Agent for Spar
tanburg County, was the guest
speaker. She was introduced
by Mrs. Ralph Riddle.
Mrs. Emerson spoke on “Eti
quette.” '
