FAREWELL PARTY
Mrs. F. L. Thornburg, who
moved to Shannon, Ga., on Fri
day was honored on Thursday
evening, when Mrs. J. C. Estes,
Mrs. Frank Goss, Mrs. Raymond
Wyatt and Mrs. Clyde Trammell
entertained with a farewell party
at the home of the latter.
Several entertaining games
enjoyed after which the host
esses served refreshments of
home-made chocolate cake, sand
wiches, cheese biscuits and po-
toto chips with cold drinks to
the twenty-five friends who came
to bid Mrs. Thornburg goodbye.
She was presented many gifts
from her friends.

Joseph Thomas Wigley, 82 died
Saturday morning at his home In
Charlotte, N. C. Funeral serv
ices were held Sunday afternoon
at the Second Baptist Church in
Great Falft, S. C.
He is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. Boyd B. Seawell of Char
lotte and four grandchild rep.
Mr. Wigley had spent most of
the past 8 years at Lydia Mills,
with his daughter-in-law, Mrs.
W. T. Wigley.
