Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Boyce, Mrs. W. J. Hogan and Gene were Sunday visitors in Rock Hill at the home of Sue and Guy Misin- himre. They visited Sue and baby Mel at the York County Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Thomas spent two weeks in Macon, Ga., with Mr., and Mrs. W. A. Thomas and Velma Wilkes. Their son, Garry Thomas, who is working & Macon, returned home with them for the holidays. Irby Holland of Clinton. Walter Tucker Laurens — Walter pucker, 40, of 210 Lee St.,'died early Tues day morning at a local hospital after four months of iljness. A native of Spartanburg Coun ty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rice Tucker of Fountain Inn, he was a World War II ^Navy veteran..' and a member of Clear Springs j Baptist Church of Fountain Inn. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Ford Tucker; two sons, Ronnie Tucker of the home and Jimmy Tucker of Clinton; two daugh ters Mrs. Wallace Coker of Fountain Inn and Mrs. Bill Coop er of Charlotte, N. C.; two step sons, Donald Wilson of Laurens and Alvin WUson of El Paso, Tex.; four brothers, Melvin, Paul Bruce and Bill Tucker of Foun tain Inn; three sisters, Mrs. J. Wilson King and Mrs. Johnny Rice of Greenville and Mrs. Hen ry Johnson of Fountain Inn; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were conduct ed Wednesday at 3 p. m. at the Church of God by Rev. J. L. Holland, Rev. Don Hewell and Rev. John Hanvey. Burial was j n Forest Lawn Cemetery.
