They were dinner guests of Dr. and Mrs. Jerry Horaowski in Asheville Thanks giving day. From there they vis ited Mr. and Mrs. Whitt Gibson in Swannanoa, N.. C., and also the former’s son and daughter- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Franks, in Biltmore. Mrs. Donald A. Fraser Sr., of Savannah, Ga., and Misses Mary and Adelaide Fraser of Hines- ville, Ga., recently visited Mr. and Mrs. T. Layton Fraser, com ing especially for the Stone-Fras- er wedding in Greenville on No vember 30. Mrs. J. B. Copeland of Lees burg, Fla., and Dillard Copeland, student at Clemson College, were guests Friday of Miss Lily Yar borough and Mrs. C. D. Yarbor ough. Mr. and Mrs. Joe S. McMillan and children of Albany, Ga.., and Mrs. Marguerite McMillan of Columbia spent the Thanksgiv ing holidays with 'their mother, Mrs. Jodie C. McMillan. J. H. Southall has returned from a buying trip in New York. Mrs. George R. Holland has re turned 'from a visit with her daughter, Mrs. Joe Hagins, and Mr. Hagins in Abbeville. ATTEND ARMY-NAVY GAME Mr. and Mr$, C. W. Hogan were in Philadelphia, Pa., over the week-end and attended the Army-Navy football game there Saturday. Mrs. Hogan’s mother, Mrs. C. G. Farrell of Aberdeen, N. C., was here with the Hogan children while their parents were away. Friends of Mrs. C. A. Holland will be interested to know she is convalescing at home following an illness and stay at Bailey Memorial Hospital. Master Derek Wessinger has been confined to his home due to an illness. C., with the former’s mother, Mrs. S. B. Ed wards. Mrs. D. H. Reynolds, Jr., of Washington, Ga., visited her mother, Mrs. P. B. Adair during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Robert F.. Black and Miss Ame Lou Black, stu dent at Converse College, Spar tanburg, spent the week-end in Charleston. Miss Black attended the Christmas Hop at The Cit adel as guest of Cadet Hap Mc- Sween. Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Horne of Charlotte, N. C., spent Sunday with the former’s broth er and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Home. Miss Catherine Turner of At lanta, Ga., and Mrs. G. C. High and Mary Turner of High Point will spend the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Yarborough. VISITORS FROM TENN. Mrs. J. O. Gurney and Mis? Jane Gurney of Oak Ridge, Tfenni are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Carter. Guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Jacobs were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hawkins of Greenwood. Recent visitors of Mrs. H. E. Sturgeon was her son and daugh ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Sturgeon, Jr. and children of Savannah, Ga. Mrs. Paul Muller was called to Florida over the weekend due to the death of her brother, Moody R. Ralph. Funeral ser vices were held in Kentucky on Tuesday, and Mrs. Muller was joined there by her husband, Mr. Muller and daughter, Beverly. Mrs. James Macdonald and Mrs. John Rivers spent Monday in Grenevlile on busines. PLANNING TRIP TO AUGUSTA Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sadler, David Boland, Miss Katheryn Discus, and Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Jacobs are planning a trip over the weekend in Augusta, Georgia.. James Edmund Ferguson of Macon, Ga., visited relatives and friends here over the weekend. Friends and relatives wiij be interestd to know Ned Anderson is a patient at Greenwood Memo rial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Don Creighton, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Cleaver, Mr., and Mrs. Morris Seymour and Bob Womack will attend a Christmas party held in Laurens tonight. Mrs. Kenneth Mann has been spending some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.. C. Thomas. Over the weekend they will be joined by Corporal Mann, who has been training in Yuma, Arizona. Cpl. and Mrs. Mann plan to return to High Point N. C. Miss Barbara Eichelberger and a group of friends visited in Atlanta, Ga., over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Haley Brown were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Seymour. Miss Margaret Bethea of North Augusta spent the weekend with her sister, Mrs. W.. W. Harris On Sunday they were joined by Mrs. George Senn of Silverstreet. Friends will be interested to know Mrs. Earl Rice is home now after being a patient at Bailey Memorial Hospital. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Anderson over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anderson and children of Pendleton, and Mr. and Mrs.. William Hatton and children of Florence.
