Terrell spent the past week in Lavonia, Ga., with his son, Willie Terrell, and family. They accompanied him home for the week-end. Rev. and Mrs. B. E. Terrell of Spartanburg vis ited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Terrell and sister, Mrs. MUdred Dickerson Sunday. Friends will be interested to know that the Rev. and Mrs. Terrell and family will move to Tampa, Fla., this week. Mike Yarborough and Miss Sylvie Barrett of Woodruff were Saturday supper guests of the former’s sister and brother-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Keith McGee. Tony Black SN, U. S. Navy, of Norfolk, Va., spent the week end with Mrs. Black and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Black. Mrs. Jack Lollis of Honea Path vUited Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Whit mire Sunday. Mr and Mrs. Walter Mills of Newberry were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Motte. Mr., and Mrs. Fred Mathis, Kathy WeWbb and Clyde Revis visited with Mrs. Mathis’ par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Maples in Sharon. They also visited Mrs. Hattie Vance in Lockhart. Mrs. Lillie Belle Miller visited her sister, Mrs. Marshall Motes on Sunday in the Newberry Hos pital where she is a patient. Mrs. A. M. Shumate Sr., Mrs. Bell Fennell and Mrs. Orin Da vis were in Camden Monday for the funeral services of the for- mre’s infant great-grandson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Barnes of Camden. Mrs. Annette Foster of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Amber Richburg of Camden visited their sister, Mrs. C. R. Kuykendall and Mr. Kuykendal oln Monday ol last week. Mrs. J. H. Seay and Miss Fero- line Seay have returned to their home in Greenville after several days visit with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trammell and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Seay. Mrs. Sarah Shelnut, Mrs. Sandy Tucker, Mrs. Wayne Gaines and Mrs. Doyle Templeton attended a household shower for Mrs. Jerry Dillishaw in Joanna Saturday af ternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Satterfield are now making their home on Bailey St. in Clinton. Mrs. Mamie Steading of Greer is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Campbell. She will stay with Mr. Campbell and Mike while Mrs. Campbell is in the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Moore Jr. and family attended the wed ding of his sister, Miss Ethel Claudine Moore to Mr. William James Alexander III at New Prospect Baptist Church on Saturday evening. Muller of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, have announced the birth of a son, Charles Douglas, on Sept. 15 at a Milwaukee hospital. Mrs. Muller is the former Eve lyn White. She is a sister of Jack White and formerly lived here. Birthday Dinner Enjoyed ^ Mr. L, W. Abercrombie, who celebrated his birthday on Sept. 26 was honored with a dinner Sunday at his home with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carroll and family of Pendelton and Mrs. Eddy Ab ercrombie and Mrs. Abercrombie present. With The Sick Mrs. Ray Campbell underwent surgery on her hand at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood this week. Mrs. Paul Revis is recuperating at her home following an opera tion at St. Frances Hospital in Greenville. Steve Hairston and Mr. John Smith both received injuries to one of their hands this past week. Mrs. Verner Dees is a medical patient at Bailey Memorial Hos pital. Jimmy Sanders has been a pa tient in Bailey Memorial Hospi tal. Organization To Meet The Intermediate G.A.’s of the Lydia Baptist Church W.M.U. will meet at the church on Mon day at 7 p.m. Miss Pam Brown will be in charge of the program. Officers elected at the Septem ber meeting were: President — Edna Mirchmore. Secretary and Treasurer — Shirley Hinson. Program Chairman — Pam Brown. Community Missions Chair man — Pat Harvey. Prayer chairman — Judy Hughey. The meetings will be held the first and third Mondays of each month. Kathleen Walker Circle To Meet The Kathleen Walker Circle of the Lydia Baptist W.M.U. will meet Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the home of Mrs. W. L. Motte at 230 Oak St. Auxiliary To Meet Monday The Ladies Auxiliary of the Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church will meet Monday eve ning at the home of Mrs. Clay ton Reece, 28 Peachtree St. at 7:30 p.m. Time For Camp Fire Does The Camp Fire and Blue Bird Girls of the Lewa District are asked to please get their dues paid as soon as possible as time is running short. Miss Nellie Osborne, director of the Lewa District has an nounced that dues must be paid by Oct. 12. Dinner Given For Mr. Nelson Mr. Odie Nelson, a patient at State Park was home for the week-end recently with Mrs. Nel son and family.
