Nobels and grand daughter Marsha of Newberry were Sunday visitors of Miss Ruth Hair and Wendell. Steve Wertz of Spartanburg visited Mr. and Mrs. Karl Sease last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Phillips were Saturday visitors in An derson. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Godfrey were Sunday visitors of the lat ters parents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Dukes in Batesburg. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Mr. and Mrs. Barron O’Shields and sons, Mrs. Sara O’Shields spent the week-end in Atlanta, Ga., with Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Kennington. Mrs. Sara O’Shields remained for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cash of Cowpens were Sunday night sup per guests of Mrs. J. M. Bozard and Derrill Bozard. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Murphy were Mrs. Lyda Murphy, and Mr. and Mr*. Cecil Estes of Enoree. Mrs. J. M. Bozard, Mrs. J. K. Waits, Mrs. W. J. Hogan, Mrs. Ryan Lawson attended the Wo men of Ole Church of S. C. Prefc bytery at First Presbyterian in Clinton on Thursday. Friends wffl be interested to know Kiri Sense is a patient at Bailey Memorial where he un derwent surgery recently. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Daven port and daughters and Mrs. Swanney Wicker were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Fulmer in Newberry Sunday afternoon. REVIVAL BEGINS Revival services begin Mon day, Oct 7th at 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Morning services will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. The visiting minister will be Dr. Donald Cook, pastor of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church at Ben- nettsville. The public is invited to attend these services each night.' HOMECOMING Homecoming will be observed Sunday, Oct. 6th at First Baptist Church.
