PURSUANT to a Decree of the
Court in the above stated case, I
will sell at public outcry to the
highest bidder, either in or in
front of the Court House, at Lau
rens C. H., S. C., on Salesday in
October next, being Monday, the
7th day of the month, during the
legal hours for such sales, the
following described property, to
wit:
“All that certain piece, par
cel or lot of land being, ly
ing and situated in the Town
of Mountville, of the County
and State aforesaid, contain
ing one and one-half acres,
more or less, and bounded on
the North by School District
No. 16; on the East by lands
of the E s t a t e of W. A.
Teague; on the South by
lands of Carl B. Crisp; and
on the West by lands of J. H.
Motes. Said lot being a part _
of the original school lot and
the same identical lot convey
ed by E. L. Pinkney by deed
dated the 20th day of July,
1933, and recorded in Deed
Book K, at page 69, in the of
fice of the Clerk of Court for
Laurens County, conveyed to
E. L. Pinkney by Bessie A.
Chase. Together with all
buildings and improvements
located on same lot.”
TERMS OF SALE. Cash, the
successful bidder other than the
parties herein, immediately upon
the conclusion o', the bidding,
shall deposit with the Probate
Judge the sum of 10 per cent of
the bid as a guarantee of his good
faith in the bidding. The same to
be applied to the purchase price
upon his complying with' the
terms of sale, otherwise to be
paid to Plaintiff for credit on
the Indebtedness. In the event the
succesful bidder should fail to
make such deposit, or should fail

REVIVAL BEGINS
Revival services begin Mon
day, Oct 7th at 7:30 p.m. at
First Baptist Church. Morning
services will be held on Tuesday
and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. The
visiting minister will be Dr.
Donald Cook, pastor of Thomas
Memorial Baptist Church at Ben-
nettsville. The public is invited
to attend these services each
night.'

Homecoming will be observed
