The father wears size 29-30 pants and 14V4 size shirt. A daughter 21, wears size 14 and the mother wears size 14. A ten-year old son and a 22-month old son. Anyone hav ing items to contribute are asked to call the red Cross Field repre sentative, Mrs. Irby S. Hipp at 833-2979. Mother of Mrs. Ellis Dies In ii Mrs. Rossie Holcombe McKin ney, 83, mother of Mrs. George D. (Eloise) Ellis of this city, died early Sunday afternoon at her home in Simpsonville. Funeral services were conduct ed Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Simpsonville by Rev. F. Howard Wheeler. Burial was in Simpsonville Ceme tery. She was the widow of William J. McKinney, who died in 1919. Survivors, in addition to Mrs. Ellis, included twp sons, three other daughters, two sisters, a brother, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. McKinney had visited her daughter here on a number of oc casions at her home on E. Walnut Street and is pleasantly remem bered by a number of residents of the community. Pilmeltt ItaeMI Kicks OA Today Palmetto baseball, a program for 13 and 14-year-old boys, kicks off its 1963 season today (Thursday) when Thornwell meets Bailey at 5:45 p.m. The schedule for the next week includes: May 24—Lydia versus Whit mire at 7:45 p. m.; and Hamp ton against Joanna at 5:45 p m. On May 28 Bailey will meet Hampton at 5:45, followed by Joanna versus Lydia at 7:45 p m . > Whitmire clashes with Joan na at 3:30 p. m. on May 30. May 31st will see a double, header, with Thornwell against Hampton at 5:45 p. m., then Bailey versus Lydia at 7:45 p. m. Small Fry League Clinton’s Small Fry league gets underway next week on Tuesday when Hampton meets Bailey. Game time is 10:00 a. m. except on May 30 with a double-header scheduled.
