On Saturday evening, Jason
Walieniine, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Wallenxine, was honored
with a birthday party given by
his grandmother. Mrs. E. W.
Mitchell. Jason was celebrating
his first birthday.
Thirteen little guests were pres
ent. Favors of birthday hats and
horns were given to each child.
Ice cream, cake, and punch were
served. Jason was remembered
with many nice gifts.
RA CHORAL GROUP PRSENTS

The R.A. Choral group of Cal
vary Baptist Church presented
special music at the Church of
God Y.P.E. program Saturday
night. Those present were Earl
Turner, Danny Ivester, Ken All-
man and Ray McCall. They
were accompanied by Dorsey
Turner.

BROADCAST
The adult choir of the First
Presbyterian Churchof Clinton
will render the musical services
on the Church of the Air Broad
cast with James A. Huey at 4:00
P m. Sunday, May 19. They will
met Monday evening at the home
of the retiring chairman, Mrs. B.
B. Ballard and Miss Kate Milam.
The program on the purposes
of ifedges was led by Mrs. W. S.
Horne assisted by Mrs. Ballard,
Miss Milam, Mrs. Tan Ray, Mrs.
William Blackwell and Mrs. J.
B. Arnold.
During the social hour a salad
course, Iced tea and cookie were
served. A sunshine box was pre
sented Mrs. Kenneth Haselden a
recent hospital patient.
