AAted as Sn emergencyvarea, and
is eligible for assistance under the
livestock feed program, accord
ing to H. A. Ropp, manager of
counties designate^!! are: Abbe
ville, Anderson Chester. Chester
field, Edgefield, Greenwood, Me-
Corrrrtck, Newberry Saluda, Spar
tanburg and York.
The prescribed period will ter
minate April 30.-,.The assistance
is to be made available only to
those eligible ^livestock owners
who have suffered serious loss of
crops, including hay or pastures,

The final date for accepting ap
plications for feed grains will be

not later than 30 days thereafter.
In most cases grain will be
furnished livestock owners at
about 75 percent of market value.
Payment for the grain approved
for livestock owners will be ob
tained prior to placljig order for
shipment of the grain to the
county. The livestock owner can-
request up to a 30 day supply of
the the feed grain.
Insofar as practical livestock
owners will be notified to get
their feed grairf at the car to save
storage and additional handling
costs, Mr. Ropp said.

If you want a truck that does its work without veU-

Chevrolet
You have to take care of it: it's a machine. But
this isn't a full-time activity. The dear idea is that
the truck works for you, not vice versa.
The way to build such a truck is to
put more oualitv into it For example,
Chevrolet doesn't build (me type of sus

Chevrolet designs suspension systems to QUAUPf RUCKS COST USS

fit your need. The light-duty type is strong on com
fort. Another kind for heavier trucks stiffens up as
you increase your load and vice versa. Make, sense?
Conventional pickups have double-wall eonstruCf
tion in cabs, doors, lower side panels. Roofs are
V- insulated. Body floors are select wood,
r* not metal. Tailgate chains are wrapped
in rubber. If you’d like to examine
