Greenville on March 6 of this
year, at which time the plaintiff
charged that employees of the de

a 1955 Dodge automobile owned
by her father, R. G. Carr of Jo
anna.

tha Mrs. Buchanan was driving
the car at the time of the acci

mechanism failed, causing it to
leave the highway end plunge
down a steep embankment, injur
ing her and her young daughter.
It was argued by the defendant
firm that they had not removed
the nut and cotter pin while
working on the vehicle before the
accident, but instead had lifted
the motor from the vehicle to
work on the car.
