who was ill at her home there.

daughter, Mrs. J. W. Turner, and
Mr. Turner in Greenwood during
the week-end. Friends will be
glad to know Mrs. Turner is re
cuperating at her home following
recent surgery.

Tuesday evening, January 16, at
6:00 p. m. in the pastor’s study
of the Lydia Baptist Church by
the Rev. M. J. Sanders.
The young couple is now at

ville.

SEAY RITES MONDAY
Wade Hampton Seay, 76, died
Thursday about noon in a Green
wood hospital after a short ill
ness.
He was a native of Haywood
County, N. C., and had lived in
Enoree for a number of years
before moving to Clinton two
years ago. He was a member
of the Enoree Free Will Baptist
Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Annie Franks Seay; four sons,
Alfred and James Seay of Clin
ton; McKinley and David Seay of
Whittier, Calif.; five half-broth
ers, John and Clyde Bright of
Buffalo; J. D. Bright of Union;
Wilson Bright of Greenville; and
Wylie Bright of Fountain Inn;
two half-sisters, Mrs. Maude
Moore of Whitney, and Mrs. Ann
Moore of Buffalo; 10 grandchil
dren and four great-grandchil
dren.
Funeral services were conduct
ed Monday at 3:00 p. m. at the
Free Will Baptist Church in En
oree by Rev. Ray Cato and Rev.
