Monitoring School
ekeer art Laurens County men who were enrolled in
the Civil Defense Radio Monitoring School which began on No
vember 9 and continued through November SC at the Laurens
High School. They will set up stations at Clinton, Joanna.
Laurens, Gray Court, Hickory Tavern, and Lanford Station.
Operational equipment for the stations will be received in the
near future, according to Laurens County Director. T. D. Pigu.

passed away suddenly Tuesday
at her home. 25th Avenue, Isle of
Palms
Mrs Horne, the former Viola
Snead, was born in Danville. Va .
and had lived in North Carolina
before moving to the Isle of
Palms a number of years ago.
