4-H Boys Show Dairy Cattle Winners At County Fair

shewed Hie grand champion in the open show and grand champion
of the junior show in the Ayrshire division at Laurens County Fair
last week. He is pictured with the winner in Isith divisions. The
second photo shows Jack Marier, 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs.
H. E. M&rler of Green Pond, with the grand champion of the open
show (left) and grand champion of the junior division in the Jersey
classification. Jack showed Id Jerseys and took first place in even
category of the show. In the third photo is Berry Beck (left) is
shown with the Guernsey entered by Thornwell Farms that won the
grand championship in the o)*'! 1 show. Jeff Raines of the Thornwell
1-H Club is holding his grand champion in the Guernsey junior
show, 'the photo at right includes the grand champion Holstein of
the open show held by its owner, Frank Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs.
I). K. Brown of Rt. 2, Laurens, and junior grand champion Holstein
was entered by Wayne W'alker (right) of the Thornwell 4-H Club.
