OUTDOOR SERVICES
Outdoor evangelistic services
will be held at Stomp Springs to
morrow (Thursday), Friday and
Saturday at 3:00 p. m. Singing
will be led by the youth choir of
Calvary Baptist Church and oth
ers, under the direction of Dorsey
Turner.
Music will be given by Mrs.
Bessie Tucker, Evelyn Daven
port, Clarence Brookshire, and
Jonas Samples.
James A. Huey will lead the;
services.
TO BROADCAST SERVICES
Gospel light religious services
will be broadcast each Saturday
by a radio station from 1:00 to
1:30 p. m., and a monthly maga
zine will be mailed to anyone who
requests it. Rev. S. D. Burton
brings the messages.

SERVICES FOR MRS.
PAS5MOBE
Mrs. Mary Jane Passmore, 73,
died early Wednesday morning at
a Lancaster hospital after several
years of declining health and a
brief illness.
A native of Macon County, N.
C., she was a member of Calvary
Baptist Church and had lived in
Clinton for 30 years.
Surviving are two sons, Shirley
Passmore of Laurinburg, N. C.,
and Leroy Passmore of Joanna;
three daughters, Mrs. Ada Haile
of Lancaster; Mrs. Ora Hedspeth
of Clinton; and Mrs. Frances
Foster of Fayetteville, N. C.; two
sisters, Mrs. Rose Lambert of
Clinton; and Mrs. Alice Lambert
of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren;
and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conduct
ed Thursday at 3:00 p. m. at Cal
vary Baptist Church by Rev. J.
W. Spillers. Burial was in Rose-
mont cemetery.
Pallbearers were Harvey and
Richard Foster; Houston Tram
mell. Oddi Lambert, Eugene Bos
tick and Ralph Riddle.
