sudden death of the former’s broth
er, Carroll Smith. The'y remained
there until Weeinesday and attend
ed the funeral and burial services
which were held at a Presbyterian
church and cemetery near Spar
tanburg.
Lt. and Mrs. Leroy Crane and
family were guests of Mrs Alma
Harvey and other friends during
the week-end They were enroule
from the Philippines to Washington
and then will go to Maryland where
Lt Crane will be stationed Mrs
