YOUTH CRUSADE AT BAILEY MEMORIAL CHURCH A one-night youth crusade will be held at Bailey Memorial Methodist Church on Monday evening, August 15. Rev. Louis Fowke, pastor of Mt. Hebron Methodist Church in Colum bia, will be the speaker. This is sponsored by the Methodist Youth Fellowship groups of the Laursos- Clinton area. The public is invited. MISS IVESTER, Mt. BURDETTE UNITED IN CHURCH CEREMONY Rev. J. W Spillers soleminzed the marriage of Miss Sandra Geral dine Ivester to Herman Clayton Bur dette at noon July 31 at Calvary Baptist Church. Miss Beth Tram mell and Miss Martha Joan Reeder presented organ and vocal music, respectively, for the service. Miss Gail Ivester. sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. She wore an aqua street-length dress made of nylon taffeta, featuring petal sleeves and a lace midriff. Herjcorsage was of pink carnations, and she wore a pink hat. The bhde. given in marriage by her brother, wore s pale blue batiste dress featuring sn embroidered bod ice She carried a white orchid on a Bible, given to her by the YWA of Calvary Baptist Church. She wore a light blue hat. The groom’s father sreved as best man. Ushers were Ronald Corley, Richard Foster, Philip King, and Marion Turner, brother-in-law of the bride. The bride s mother wore a dress of pink batiste with matching jack et which featured lace inserts. She wore a matching pink hat and white accessories. Her corsage was of pink carnations. The groom’s moth er wore a dress of light blue lace and a matching blue hat Her ac- cesaories and her cordage was pink carnations The altar was decorated with two floor baskets of white gladioli and two candelabra holding lighted ta pers A white rug was placed at the altar and the reserved seats were marked by large white bows Out of aown guests for the wed ding were: Mr and Mrs. George Smith, Martin.
