To The Editor
The Clinton Chronicle
Clinton, S. C.
Through your columns, and on be
half of my family, I would like to
thank the Clinton Fire Department
for the fine and courageous job thqy
did in saving our home from com
plete destruction by fire W r e greatly
appreciate their efficient and whole
hearted effort, which was rendered
under unusual handicaps of weather
and situation. Also we are grateful
for the volunteer assistance of
friends and neighbors, which en
abled us to save most of our fur
niture and belongings. It was very
heart-warming to see the numbers
of small boys, high school and col
lege students in this group of rain-
soaked helpers
We thank them all
