Lee C. Hargrove
Dies At Home Here
Lee Hargrove, 73, retired farmer,
died early Friday at his home, 306
Florida street, after several years
of declining health.
He made his home near Whitmire
until about four years ago. He was
the son of the late Joseph C. and
Emma Abrams Hargrove.
Mr. Hargrove was a member of
ML Tabor Methodist Church near
Whitmire, but had attended Broad
Street Methodist Church where be
was a member of the Boyd-Blakely
Sunday school class.
Surviving are four sisters, Miss
Nannie Hargrove, Miss Emma Har.
grove, Mrs. Kate Hargrove Pitts,
all of Clinton; and Mrs. Lucy Hair-
grove Humphries of Newberry.
Funeral services were conducted
at 4:00 p. m. Saturday at the Gray
Funeral Home by the Rev. Joel E.
Cannon, assisted by the Rev. B. H.
Montgomery Interment was in Ht.
Tabor cemetery’ * .
Pallbearers were J. W. (Bill)
Abrams. Durward Cromer, Joe
Bonds, Roy Workman, Jr., Sterling

FHA Girls To
Attend Comp
The Clinton High FHA girls will
attend camp at Ocean Drive Beach
July 12-18. They will be accompan
ied by Mrs. Harry Bouknight, Mrs.
Herman Jackson and Mrs. Avery
Smith as chaiferones.
TENT REVIVAL AT WAGENER
Revival services will be held at
the Old Fashioned Holiness Church
in Wagener beginning July 1 and
continuing through the 17th. Ser
vices wil Ibe held each day at 2:30
and 7:30 by Rev. Vernon Bledsoe
of Johnston and Rev. Louise Goff of
Chappells. Special prayer will be
offered for the sick at each service.
