C., is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Harry F. Lowman, and Major Lawman. ' Sgt. and Mirs. A. E. Farmer and children, Bonnie Lee, Deborah Ann, and Jimmy, of Keesler Field, Bi loxi, Mias, spent last week with Mrs: Fanner's parnets, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Stilwell. Bonnie Lee and Deborah Ann remained with their grandparents for the summer. George Blalock, Jr., left Saturday for Fort Bragg, N. C., where he will spend six weeks at ROTC sum mer camp. Friends of Miss Lois Blakely will be interested to know she is a pa tient st Self Memorial hospital in Greenwood. Among those attending the Dow- dle-Rawls wedding in Rock Hill Sat urday were: Miss Sara Jordan, Miss Sara Christy, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sowers, Mr. and Mrs. John Dowdle. Former Clinton residents attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ed ward Pease of Baltimore, Md.; Mr. and Mrs. James Craig and son, Mark, of Athens, Ga.; and Rev. Marshall Neil of Hartsville. Miss Florence Blakely of Durham, N. C., spent the week-end with rela tives here and attended the reunion of her high school class. Mrs. George Bellingratfa, accom- pained by her two grandchildren, Julia and Larry, have returned from a two weeks visit with rela tives in Norfolk, Va. On Friday Dr. and Mrs. Bellingrath accompanied the gandchildren to Cedar Moun tain, N. C., where they are now at tending Miary Gwyim’e camp. Mrs. Wm. B. Owens and Mrs. Wm. Bailey Owens attended the funeral of Arthur Lee In Greenwood yesterday. Dr. and Mrs. Robert Reynolds and daughter. Sigrid, of Memphis, Term., spent last week with the for mer’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Reynolds and Shirley. C., were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Nabors, having come especially for the 20th reunion of Mrs. Walter’s high school graduating class. ON LEAVE FROM PUERTO RICO James Arthur “Peanut” Smith is spending a 30-day leave with his mother, Mrs. Broad us E. Smith on Florida Street, having been station ed in Puerto Rico the past two years with the U. S. Navy. Follow ing his leave he will be stationed in New Jersey. Mrs. Ernest Cushman and chil dren, of Knoxville, Tenn., are visit ing her mother, Mrs. George Tay lor. Also here for the week-end was Mrs. Dan Roberts and two children, of Orangeburg, coming especially for the class of 1040 reunion. Miss Terrell Cook left last week for Camp Ilia bee near Brevard, N. C., where she will be a counselor and awinuning inatructor for the summer camp. Mr and Mrs. Paul Martin in Charleston during the week-end Mr. and Mrs Wallace and Watty, at Florence, spent several days last week with Mrs Meggs mother, Mrs Inez Pruitt, and family. They were accompanied home by Mrs. Joe Holland and chil dren for the week-end. Philip Pruitt of Jacksonville, Fla., also visited his mother for several days and she accompanied him home for a visit.
