Dies In Florida
Clyde Cannon. 54. turner Negro
citizen Hinton, died Tuesday.
May 24. at his home in Lake Os
borne. Fla
For more than 40 years he had
been chauffeur, butler and cook for
the late F J Adair and Mrs Adair
in Clinton
He had been in Florida for the
past seven months, whert' Mrs,
.Adair has a winter home in nearby
Lake Worth
Surviving are one sister. Ruth,
an^a brother, David, both of Clin
ton.
Funeral service* were held last
Thursday in Lake Osborne and
bunal was in Clinton Sunday.
Montgomery Resigns

He has served in this capacity for
