Miss Frances Cheadle, Director,
Region 111 for Camp Fire Girls,
Inc., will arrive in Clinton on
March 14, it was announced today
by Mrs. W. G. King. Jr., executive
director During her visit here,
March 14 17. she will meet and
hold conferences with leaders, the
board of directors, committee chair
men and members.
Miss Cheadle. whose headquar
ters are in Jacksonv ill^Fla., serves
as'regional director to Camp Fire
Girls councils in North and South
Carolina. Georgia, Florida. Ala
bama. Mississtypi and Tennessee.
Prior to her present position, she
was field adviser for councils in
Camp Fire Girls Regions IX and
IV. Miss Cheadle also has been ex
ecutive director of the Wichita
(Kan ) Council of Camp Fire Girls
and the Lawton (Okla.) Council, and
field director in the Sowela Area
Council of Camp Fire Girls. Lake
Charles, La.
A native of Oklahoma. Miss
Cheadle received a B. A. degree
from the Oklahoma College for
Women in Chickasha. She is a
member of the American Camping
Association
