Marshall, Jr, have returned from a month’s stay at Isle of Palms and Pawley’s. Mrs. T. J. Leake had as guests during the week her sister-in-law, Mrs. E.. H. Garrett of Greenwood, her niece, Mrs. Herman Gurst, and daughter of Albany, Ga. Judy and Jean Covington returned Monday to their home in Hamlet, N. C., after a visit with their uncle, J. Aldine Blakely, and other rela tives here. Dr. and Mrs. Carl Wessinger and children, Derrick and Karen, spent the week-end in Anderson with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Owen. MOVE TO CLINTON Frieds of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Owings, formerly of Cross Anchor, will be interested to know they have moved to Clinton and are residing on Jones street. Mrs. Owings works at Hamilton’s Jewelers and Mr. Owings with Liberty Life Insurance Co. EUROPEAN TRIP Mrs. H. M. Wise has returned to her home here after a six weeks Eu ropean tour. >- Mrs. Quinton Chapman and chil dren, John Mason and Jane, of Char leston, are spending two weeks with her mother, Mrs. J. H.
