VISIT GARDEN CITY
Mr. and Mrs. W. G. King. Mr.
and Mrs. Lonnie Hiers, Mr. and
Mrs. Hayne Workman were guests
last week of Mr. and Mirs. Harry
-R. Phillips at Garden City Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Cannon joined
them there for the week-end.

VACATION IN FLORIDA
Mr. and Mrs. Weldon T. Jackson,
their daughter, Sara Weldon, with
the latter’s mother, Mrs. W. L. Ins-
keep, returned from a vacation trip
to St. Petersburg and Sarasota. Fla.
Enroute they were guests of Mrs.
Jackson’s nephew, Herman A. Alex
ander in Jacksonville and also visit
ed John Willard in Orlando.
Mrs. Mac Poole has returned from
a week’s stay with her brother, N.
E. Dempsey, in Canton, N. C. While
there they visted piaces of interest
ih the Smoky Mountains.
Miss Terrell Cook will be the
week-end guest of Miss Mary Louise
Chandler in Greenville.
Dr. Neil G. Whitelaw will be the
guest of Dr, and Mrs. B. H. Boyd
in Chapel Hill, N. C., for the holiday
week-end.
