Whitmire Little Bosy. Whitmire lost
their first game of the season to
the Lions Club and then won twelve
straight until the Moose Club de
feated them Friday night. This
leaves the Moose dub on top with
four wins and no losses since play
for the cup started. Whitmire and
the Lions Club are tied for second
place, with three wins and one loss.
T. Alexander and J. Alexander from
Whitmire, are still the leading pitch
ers as to strikeouts in the Little
Boys league. William Graham, ctn-
terfidder from Whitmire, went to
camp this .week and held on to his
batting leadership by two points.
The Hampton Avenue Pony team
continues to lead the Pony race, al
though they were defeated by Lydia
the past week. Several rained out
Pony games will be played this week
and next. All of the teams are be
hind in their schedule except the
Bailey team.
