Jere B. RodcUffe is the recent
ly appointed field Scout executive
for Laurens and Newberry Coun
ties.
Since assuming the position
earlier in the year, Mr. Radcllffe
pursued a course of study in Scout
ing in New York.
Mr. Radcllffe, along with other
Scout leaders of the Blue Ridge
Council, will be at Camp Old In
dian, between Greenville and Hen
dersonville, for the summer. On
Monday he joined camp staff
members for a week’s pre-camp
session, preparatory to the open
ing of Camp Old Indian next week
for the summer’s activities.

he and his wife and six-months-old
