C., were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. John Campbell Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Luke Smith and family and Dessie Webb visited Mrs. Evelyn Webb in Dublin, Ga., the past week-end. She is the grand mother of Mrs. Smith and Mr. Webb. C. E. Vinson and friends of Sen eca, enjoyed fishing at ShnteeCoop- er the past week-end. They caught 165 pounds of fish. He is the father of Mrs. Joel Cox of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Shoppard 4 of Havelock, N. C., were recent week-end visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lyda and family. Mrs. J. H. Wallenzine of Newber ry, was a week-end visitor of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Wallenzine and fam ily ATTENDS FUNERAL Mrs. Lydie Todd attended the funeral of her uncle, Ralph Watts, in Donalds Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Mansfield Copeland visited Mr. and Mrs. James Taylor and son in Atlanta, Ga., the past week-end. Mrs. J. J. Guest of Cross Hill, visited her son, Louis Nix, a patient at the Veterans hospital in Colum bia, last week. Mr. and Mrs. George Atwell of Miami, Fla., are spending their va cation with Mr. and Mrs. Murray Adams and other relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Croy and family were Sunday visitors in Greenville. Mrs Johnnie Mason and Mrs. C. A. Elledge were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Elledge, Mrs. L. C. El ledge and Mrs. Lucile HoRzclaw on Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Smith and sons of Chester, were Friday night visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Smith. WITH THE SICK Mrs. Murray Adams underwent eye surgery this week and is a pa tient in Self Memorial hospital in Greenwood. 4 Mrs. L. C. WEINER ROAST ENJOYED Miss Woodie Mae Campbell was hostess for a weiner roast and pic nic at the home of her grandmother on the Greenwood highway Saturday evening.
