83 retired fanner of Rt 1. Water
loo. died Wednesday. April 1. at 3:10
p m . at a Greenwood hoapital fol
lowing several weeks oi illness.
He was a lifelong; resident of
Laurens County, a son of the late
Sanford Troy and Nancy Todd Wea
thers. He was a member of Reedy
Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church
Surviving are three daughters,
Mrs Beatrice Wrenn and Mrs. Sue
Oxner, both of Waterloo; and Mrs.
Molly Davenport of Hodges; three
sons. John Carl Weathers of Gray
Court; Sanford Troy Weathers of
Ware Shoals; and Robert Weathers
of Waterloo; 30 grandchildren; two
asters. Mrs. Lilly Woods of Wood
ruff: and Mrs. Ada Tollison of Foun
tain Inn
Funeral services were conducted
at Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holi
ness Church Friday at 3:00 p. m.
by the Rev A. W. Dennis and the
Rev. Ernest Burton. Burial w’as in
the church cemetery.
