Mc Daniel the past week-end. * Mrs. Wilson Harris will join her daughter, Miss Cornelia Harris in Columbia tomorrow and they will attend a stationery clinic in (he interest of the Chronicle on Saturday in Charleston. BUSINESS VISITOR Norman G. Meyers of New York was a business visitor here several days the past week. Dr. and Mrs. A. D. Salter, Doug and Barbara Salter of Savannah, Ga., formerly of this city were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hummel Harley in Laurens and other friends here, coming especial ly for the Mason-Dixon wedding. Among Winthrop girls who spent the spring holidays at their homes here leaving yesterday to resume t their studies were Miss Jane Ray. Betty Jane Hamer, Margaret Ann Bolick, Jennie Addison, Dolly Crouch. Jane Pitts, Mary Ann Neighbors. Mrs. R. B. DuPree of Owings is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Ran dolph Davis and Mr. Davis. Miss Rachel Counts and Jimmy Counts, students at Furman Uni versity and Wayne Counts who at tends graduate school at the Uni versity of North Carolina, all of Prosperity were guests during the holidays of their uncle and aunt, Mr and Mrs. R. McKee. Final Rites Are Held For Edward L. Bolick Edward Leon Bolick. 42, of Ki nards, died early Sunday morning at a fColumhia hospital following de dining health for 10 yoars and an ill ness of several months. Mr Bolick was born in Union County and reared in Laurens Coun ty, a son of Eugene and Irene Long shore Bolick. He had operated a I store in Ki nards for a number of years and operated a truck line. He was a member of Joanna Revi val Center. Surviving besides his parents are; his wife. Mrs. Wilke Mae Johnson Bolick. three sons. James Carroll Bohck of Mobile. Aa ; WUbur and Eugene Bolick both of Kinarda. one daughter, Mias Sylvia Bolick of Kinards; one brother.
