Laurens—Henry Grady Madden.
66, of Rt. 2 Laurens, died late Sun
day night in a local hospital after
a short illness.
Mr. Madden made his home in the
Cold Point section of Laurens Coun
ly an his hie He was me son of the
late Mose and Hortence Madden
and was a member of Mt Pleasant
Baptist Church.
Surviving are two brothers, Mose
Madden, Jr., of Laurens, and Hob
ert L. Madden, of Chapel Hill, N. C..
and three sisters. Mrs. Mary E.
Wheeler and Mrs. B J Corbett,
both of Atlanta, and Mrs W.* A
Grant, of Columbia
Funeral services were conducted
at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church at
2 p. m Tuesday by the Rev. Alvin
B O’Shields. Burial was in th"
church cemetery
