returned to their home here at 107
East Calhoun street after spending
the summer in Elkins, W. Va.
Mrs. Hazel D. Allison of Pine
Btuff, N. C., is spending several
weeks with her daughter, Mrs. A.
B. Stump, and Mr. Stump.
Mr. and Mrs. Carlisle Neely have
returned from a trip to New York
state and Montreal, Canada. They
were accompanied by their son Joe,
who remained at Troy, N. Y.,
where he has entered the freshman
class at Rensselaer Polytechnic In
stitute.
Mrs. H. H. Harris of Columbia,
was the guest of her daughter, Mrs.
Tom Addison, and Mr. Addison on
Wednesday enroute to Highlands,
N. C., for a stay. She was accom
panied by Mrs. Herbert Benson,
also of Columbia.
Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Yarborough,
Jr., and children will return during
the week to Clemson College where
he is a member of the senior class
after a summer visit with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. A, Yarbo
rough, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Bonds
Workman.
Mrs. J. B. Dailey has returned
from a several weeks visit in Lea
ther wood, Kansas, with her mother,
Mrs. Ben Calitri, and sister, Mrs.
0. H. Easterling, and in Hazard,
Ky., with her brother, John Calitri,
and family.
Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Nalley and little daughter will be
interested to know they have re
turned to their home here after
spending a number of weeks in
a Noakesville, Va., hospital and re
cuperating at the home of Mrs. Nal
ley’s sister, Mrs. Robert Olmstead
there. The Nalleys suffered injuries
in a car accident while on vacation
in Virginia.
Miss Martha Wilson, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Wilson, left
this week to resume her teaching
position at the Blue Ridge High
School near Greenville. Mell Wilson
leaves Monday, the 15th, to enter
the sophomore class at Clemson.
Jake Rasor, Jr., of Cross Hill,
will be a freshman at Furman Uni
versity, Greenville, the coming
year.

vacation trip to Ponte Vedre, Day

Johnson. He will resume his stud
ies as a member of the junior class
at the Medical College of South
Carolina, Charleston. He has been
working during the summer at
Baker Hospital in Charleston. The
Johnsons had as their guest Miss
Frankie Fairey of St. George, also
a junior at the Medical College.
Miss Terrell Cook, daughter of
Mrs. David S. Cook, left yesterday
for Converse College, Spartanburg,
where she will be a freshman. Ter
rell was graduated in May from
Clinton High School.
Gary Lehn has returned from a
visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Adam Lehn in Milwaukee, Wis.
Their friends will be glad to know
that Mr. Lehn is improving satis
factorily after breaking both legs
in a fall.
