Mrs. Price Passes
Mrs. Nelje Price of Laurens, Rt
1. passed away Friday, August 15.
Funeral services were held Sunday
afternoon at the Northside Baptist
Church in Laurens. She is survived
by several children, and is the mo
ther of Mrs. Doris Osborne of this
city.

The Fidelis Class of Calvary Bap
list Church held the monthly class
meeting at the home of Mrs. Harold
Rollins on Shands street Tuesday.
Prayer was given by Mrs Alvin
Trammell, and the devotional by
Mrs. Charles Meadors.
After a business session t w o
games of bingo were played, with
prizes being won by Mrs. Louie
Webb and Mrs. Keith McGee. Re
freshments were served by the
hostes. assisted by Mrs. Richard
Watts Mrs Joel Cox, teacher, and
Horizon Girls Visit Biltmore
Mrs. D 0. Freeman and her
group of Horizon girls with a num
ber of invited guests recently visit
ed the Biltmore Estate. Asheville
N. C.
Following a tour of the scenic
grounds, flower gardens, and the
beautiful mansion, they enjoyed a
picnic dinner near Asneville.
Taking the trip were Myra and
Kathy Snelgrove, Anne Meadors.

Patricia Duncan, and Mrs. Free
man from the Horizon group, and

to me to grant them Letters of Ad
ministration of the Estate and ef
fects of George Cromer Johnson.
These are, therefore, to cite and
admonish all and singular the
Kindred and Creditors of the said
George Cromer Johnson, deceased,
that they be and appear before me,
in the Court of Probate, to be held
at Laurens Court House, Laurens,
S. C., on September 9, 1958 next,
after, publication hereof, at 10 o’
